Jolly Holiday with Mare

I am so happy to see that you have stumbled upon my blog! Since this is our first time meeting, let me introduce myself. My name is Mary Claire, short for Mary, which is where the “Mare” comes from. I am so so happy to FINALLY be able to launch my blog. This has not really been a lot of blood, sweat and tears. More of  a lot of “What if I fail?” and “What if I don’t have what it takes?” But after much encouragement and determination, this girl just decided to go for it, so here I am.. Welcome to Jolly Holiday with Mare.

Let me begin to tell you a little bit about myself, I am a College student at the Univserty of Alabama’s distance program (ROLLL TIDEE) and I live in a small town near Charlotte, North Carolina. The Lord has radically changed my life and has redeemed me to make me NEW! Recently I have decided to pursue counseling as a career. I am a dog-mom to my Collie, Penny! She is the sweetest..well most of the time. I am dating my high school sweetheart, Rylan! I love anything rose-gold and I am a firm believer that a girl really can’t own too many pairs of shoes. When I grow up I either want to be just like Audrey Hepburn or Wendy Darling. I am a firm believer in showing up dressed up or don’t show up at all. I love a good dance party. If could choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life, it would be dole whips!

I like to call myself a magic coordinator & Disney destination connoisseur. I thrive on Disney and I am a firm believer that it truly is the happiest place on earth.

Ever since I was little girl, Disney has always been magical. Since my first name is Mary, I was convinced I was named after Mary Poppins, I even told almost everyone that. Even though I am not really named after Mary Poppins her story has always been one of my favorites. A woman with an ordinary job, changed a family for the better, just by adding a little bit of Magic! That is my goal, to enrich families lives by providing knowledge of magical places and making sure that magic stays! It is true that with every job that must be done, there is an element of fun! Especially if that job is planning magical getaways for families.

So with out any further ado…lets go fly a kite! …I mean Lets go to Disney!
